ParentsNext has been the support to help me move forward as a single parent. I lacked the self-worth and confidence to find employment on my own. ParentsNext has been fabulous in empowering me to believe in myself and my ability to return to the workforce while still being there for my son.
I postponed starting my own business for a very long time because I was scared. However, when I joined PNX I realised I could access a lot of support in helping me achieve my dream of running my own business (Cake Paradise by Mary). I am now very happy to finally be achieving my lifelong dream of making beautiful cakes for people.
I am very grateful for the ongoing support and patience extended to me during my time in the ParentsNext program. It’s been a transformative journey. The personalised solutions not only helped me get back to work but also played a crucial role in my 2-year-old son overcoming separation anxiety. It’s been a triumph, and we’re both thriving.
Thanks to the TAG – ParentsNext program, I gained the confidence and support I needed. After completing my Certificate III in Education Support, I was unsure about my next steps. With their guidance, I realised I could chase my dream and enrolled in a Bachelor of Education. Now, I’ve accepted a permanent part-time position with the Department of Education. I am more confident in my career and study pathways, all thanks to TAG – ParentsNext Program.
