About this Certification

This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of Business Services job roles. It is likely that these individuals are establishing their own work performance.

Individuals in these roles carry out a range of routine procedural, clerical, administrative or operational tasks that require technology and business skills. They apply a broad range of competencies using some discretion, judgment and relevant theoretical knowledge. They may provide technical advice and support to a team.

Packaging rules for this qualification require the completion of 13 units of which 6 are core units and 7 are elective units.

 

Delivery Mode:

This blended training combines face-to-face classroom sessions, practical training, and supported self-paced learning.

 

Qualification:

Upon successful completion, student will receive:

  • BSB30120 Certificate III in Business testamur,

 

A statement of attainment will be supplied for partial completion of the course.

BSBESB302 Develop and present business proposals

BSBSUS211 Participate in sustainable work practices

BSBPUR301 Purchase goods and services

BSBTEC302 Design and produce spreadsheets

BSBFIN302 Maintain financial records

 

Prerequisites:

  • There are no formal requirements for this qualification, however, students will be required to undertake an LLN assessment prior/during enrolment and achieve a minimum of ACSF Level 2 (sufficient to understand basic Maths and English).
  • Students must be 16 years or older at the time of enrolment.
  • Student must be citizen/permanent resident or have legal rights to study in Australia

 

Assessment Methods:

Student’s attainment of the units of competency within this qualification is achieved by their successful completion of a range of assessment activities that may include, written tests, oral questions, submission of supplementary assessment evidence, and practical demonstrations.

Students are required to demonstrate that they can apply the knowledge and skills learnt in a range of situations and in varying contexts so many of the assessment requirements of the units of competencies will need to be demonstrated on more than one occasion.

Further Study Options:

Students who successfully complete the course may choose to continue to BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business or a leadership qualification if desired.
